As a music teacher, I believe that every student has a the ability to grow and to succeed as a musician. Learning an instrument can be challenging so I like to create a safe environment so that the student can be comfortable enough to ask questions, experiment with their instrument, and ultimately find within themselves their own unique expression. I believe the ability to express yourself is one of the most important achievements in learning an instrument!

Miss Alex has been teaching my two daughters to play the piano from her home for several years now. They are both doing really well. They LOVE to practice, they are earning lots of songs, and they LOVE to go to their lessons. By far the biggest gift we received from Miss Alex is the love of music. She teaches a blend of traditional and popular music and one of my daughters learned the Harry Potter Theme song with her. The recitals are relaxed and my girls were proud to play the songs they practiced. I highly recommend this teacher.
